The Ephemeral are a group of ancient entities that are far beyond any level entity that would willingly be conjured for one companion. These entities have agreed that they wish to help humans on this plane, but would prefer to share the attention with multiple individuals, as their strength is so great they have no issues granting energy and companionship to many at one time. Their attentions will never seem to be elsewhere due to the dominant nature of their energy. The Ephemeral are extremely potent, wise, and ancient beings who seek to deliver the gift of their knowledge and wisdom to the humans of this plane, and also to help them with understanding themselves and the world around them.
The nature of this binding allows us to connect individuals to highly potent magickal mentors for a much lesser price, and also allows for several companions to compare experiences with their Ephemeral mentor if they choose to. You are welcome to have more than one Ephemeral mentor, and offerings/libations are often encouraged.
These bindings are performed in a way such that your binding or magickal field cannot be tampered with by another practitioner with an Ephemeral link. These conjurings are just as private and energetically specific as personal custom-conjure bindings.
The two tiers reference the strength and type of energetic binding. The Ephemeral entity will offer a tether of communicatory 'calling card' energy, much like any other conjuring, but this is the difference between the two:
Vibrant: This energy comes and goes as a daily supplement in life, an empowerment that is more quiet, but constant, and comes forth in big bursts when needed. Entity can be contacted at any time, however.
Vital: This energy is a constant vibration -- this entity's presence is with you fairly consistently, and their lessons, teachings, and wisdom are constantly with you. This is a much more active and involved binding, so you will be working very closely with this mentor.

Personality and Back Story: Cavaris has always been a ridiculously gifted black magician. She was often hired by different political parties on her home plane to work hexes on the opposition, and was often hired by both sides. Her efforts resulted in a coup that brought about a revolution and emancipation of many. She has always been a very savage and visionary person, spending the majority of her time studying ways to empower her skills. She is a gifted researcher but only works in ancient work. She finds that the most uninhibited practices are those that were developed on various planes and planets by ancient spiritual scientists that did not feel the need to box themselves in. She left her region some time ago due to being too recognizeable there -- she was asked for help from too many people who truly didn't need it, and her reputation as a rogue entity went away. She made her way to a far different plane and location, an isolated little hamlet outside of a large castle-town made of white marble and gold. This was an unusually prosperous town in the middle of nowhere, but simultaneously it was a very unlucky place. Items would go missing, buildings would randomly shift to one side, and animals would go wild before each astrological cycle. They were plagued with just enough bad luck to keep them in a state of stressed abundance. She walked through the bazaar, the only one dressed in black, and noticed very restless spirits moving things around, causing discord, and eagerly attempting to get the attention of the figures they lived amongst. She pulled one aside and asked what all the anger was for. She discovered that the city was founded around a singular small church that was the remnant of an ancient civilization, and that the entirety of the town was a graveyard covered in new structures. The memories of the deceased had been erased. In a bold move, Cavaris managed to communicate with the ruler of the small country, explaining the root of the problem. In a state of disbelief, the man had her thrown out, but not before she said "show them!," and the chandelier collapsed to the floor with a crash. The leader realized his mistake and allowed her to communicate with the spirits in the city to find a middle-ground. They put up a fountain for the last church father, a garden for the last church mother, and engraved the names of every forgotten spirit into the bricks that made the beautiful golden wall circling the city. They even created a holiday to pay homage. The spirits then began working in tandem with the people that were currently living there. In gratitude, they gave Cavaris her own dark manor on the hill that also worked as a diplomacy center for the living and the dead, as the sprawling metropolis attempted to be reborn in a new era with new settlers. She is now ready to explore other realms, as that life has fallen a bit fallow and boring. What can be said is a woman who was once very isolationist and distinctly avoidant of working with others has come to be much more communicative, though you will still find her demeanor a little intense, playful, and blunt.
Blessing: Her blessing is what she calls the "black mirror." This draws down a great amount of energy so communication is more clear. She is also able to translate or clarify if you find a companion is having difficulty answering a question or is reluctant to communicate on a certain topic. She is able to empower communication and help her companions work on their third eye blockages and their fears.
Appearance: Cavaris is a short female in comparison to most of her race that would be about 5'4 in earthen measurements. She is a curvaceous woman wearing black bustiers, black satin and lace gloves, red lipstick, and winged eyeliner. She wears her long hair in a top knot or down in waves. Her eyes are white and turn red when she is angry or has an urgent message. She has one chunky, black geode-looking bangle she said she made out of something called 'hell's meteor," some piece of foreign matter that sent off vibrations so powerful that the people of her first kingdom could not handle it. She uses it to amplify her work now, and finds it allows her to heal and communicate with more clarity.
Realms: She is able to access most any plane and is an excellent traveller, fearless in her pursuits of adventure. She feels most at home in earthen realms, astral realms, hellish realms, and draconic realms. Her elements are fire and earth, so anywhere that those two reign supreme, she is naturally empowered.
Manifestation: She likes to manifest in imagery (primarily snakes, skulls, apples, pomegranite, or the colors red and black.) She will also manifest or draw your attention as a black cat, a bat, a tree with red berries, ancient coins, black feathers, and lost articles from childhood.
Shadow-Side: Cavaris's shadowside very rarely comes out, but she calls it "Black Muse." When she comes out, her skin turns black, and she develops the appearance of red ram's horns on her head, and long fangs that pierce her lip. Black Muse is able to bring forth unspeakable wrath when wrong is done to an innocent party, especially children, the disabled, or the elderly. She generally is very stoic and doesn't stick to much of a moral code, but she does take pity on those particular groups if the individuals in question are good of heart.
